Today's Scripture: "The wrath of a king is like the roaring of a lion; whoever provokes him to anger sins against his own life." Pr. 20:2
6018. Me thinks all my problems were fashioned by me, for me. JG

See it.

Bless the mess

Live it.

Fearing I might forget, several years ago I created a MS Word document entitled, "MyLife.doc." In it I've recorded every bit of information I remember in sequence along with names, places, etc. My wife helped me confirm/correct names and dates, and today I use old files and documentation to validate or correct it. This information and corresponding papers becomes part of my physical journal contained in many binders. Why do this? Sometimes I need reminding.

In 1984, the company I represented sent me overseas to reach an agreement with a client who received our goods and was dissatisfied. We'd supplied fabricated materials through a Korean company to the Saudi Arabian government. I was told that any dispute with one Korean would preclude us from working with other Koreans. We didn't intend to offend them with inferior product, but we did so by purchasing goods from a negligent fabricator. We then failed to inspect their work before our label was placed on it and shipped. I may not have heard a powerful lion roar, but that was the last "sin" we commuted in that marketplace.

Pray it.

Teach me Your word, Lord, and I will listen and take note.
