Devotional - Thursday, December 14, 2017 348/17

Today's Scripture: "And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” Jn 11:26
6023. Time is eternally stamped with evidence of my belief. JG

See it.

Immortal mortal

Live it.

When speaking of Gen 1:1 and Elohim (the Trinity), I find myself using science to address scientific argument. When we establish that the Creator was not created and is not subject to His own creation, then God existed before time. That's a brain twister in itself, but the racket caused by deniers can be annoying.

God is immortal, and humans should exclude themselves from meaningful dialog on the subject. But we don't. When man creates anything without using God's creation to make it, I'll listen to what he has to say. Personally, I smile at scientific rhetoric but believe in Elohim, gladly placing my future in His hands.

Pray it.

I am confident in You, God, to do exceedingly, abundantly more than I can comprehend.
