Devotional - Thursday, January 4, 2018 4/361

Today's Scripture: "Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, 'Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.'" John 11:32
6044. Sometime we have thoughts and sometime our thoughts have us. JG

See it.

Live it.

In a world of wacky religion, the common belief is that God has two personalities, good and bad. The fact is He is a just and jealous God who doesn't need man's approval. Deism has long tried to debunk the Holy Bible and believe that God is not involved in human affairs, certainly not working miracles. In doing so, they have debunked themselves. Death is not a product of a bad god. Instead, God required someone to demonstrate that Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life. Who better to do this than His personal friend?

One of the reasons I keep a journal and have posted a testimony for eighteen years, is to show how God has been working throughout my life. I haven't yet been raised from the dead, but it is my highest honor to show His glory in every way and every day until I am.

Pray it.

You are more than I could have imagined, God, never having failed me once. Thank You.
