An itsy bit
After a scare of low blood pressure on August 21st of last year, I checked my weight and it was 231 pounds. So I created a shape-up plan and changed my life-style to track my weight and blood-pressure against what it was a week earlier. My weight by Thanksgiving Day (46 days ago), was 213.6 pounds. Today, after 46 days of enjoying holiday food in moderation, my weight is still 213.6 pounds and I've been taken off blood-pressure and cholesterol lowering medicines. Having reached as low as 210 pounds, my goal is to break that level next week.
ShapeUp(c) is a simple plan I created to avoid sugar, bread, bad carbs and carbonated drinks while doing some form of exercise. My regiment includes taking 30 minutes each day to walk a couple of miles. TODO2018 was created to include a panel making it easy to record and track such information. While the unleavened bread included wheat flour anointed with oil to make it holy, improving my health for ministry sake finds commonality.
Remind me, Lord, to measure myself against Your word and not the world's standard.
