Joy or Annoy?
When I chose to write All Kinds of Prayer, I never imagined there would be so many ways to pray. But God honored the work and looking back, it was a sacred time for me. My premise in the book was that prayer should be a personal and enjoyable experience, not a religious exercise in obligation. Never in my life did I expect so few people to be interested in the subject. I figured they'd be annoyed by the way I did it. Maybe they never read it. Hmm . . .
My desire is to meet Yours in every way, Lord, and not just half-way with a half-heart.
