6055. Planning takes place before work, not in place of it. JG
After determining that our backyard was a watershed between higher property and the street, we gave up any idea of a plush manicured lawn. Instead, we plan to use stone and gravel to direct the water toward it's natural flow route and grow grass in what's left. We didn't get all the work done before Winter set in, and a recent downpour reminded us that there is a time to plan and there's a time to work.
The washing of Aaron and his sons was ceremonial more than functional. The work they performed in front of the door was holy and required both personal and spiritual cleansing. Had the work not been performed before Aaron entered the tabernacle, his work could not be performed on the other side of the door.
I have much to do, Lord, but I'd rather be still and pray, so let's talk while we work, shall we?
