6056. A loss is not reason to quit. JG
What's it like to have ultimate power and not make everything better for everyone? No one but God knew the consequences of man's choice to listen to Satan in the Garden. Because of that one decision, untold millions of people would be born and die never choosing to know the peace that reconciliation would bring. Some might think God is calloused to let that happen, but a man decides his own destiny and God is not a puppet master.
After one to two inches of snow fell overnight and dark clouds lingering, one might think things are bad and getting worse. But walking outside this morning, I looked up and noticed a change was coming. Like a curtain closing the first act of a cloudy play, blue skies seem to indicate better things are coming. Weeping is like that. Tears indicate momentary sadness, but they stop and for the believer turn to joy.
Remind me, God, that my job is to do Your work regardless of the resistance.
