6062. Honor and humility don't just start with the same letter. JG
The 25,000 files that comprise PrayerTower were recently moved to a new home. This procedure required the copying of a single folder on my local machine and uploading it to another server. This process itself didn't take long. But when it was noted that personal files were included in the upload, panic set in. For two days (so far) I've visited roughly half of all the 6,000 folders to manually extract certain data from the new site. After this is done I not only deserve a rest, but in my opinion, a virtual crown for extraordinary achievement. And no one will ever see what was accomplished in four days in January.
The priests who served in the Tabernacle were honored by all the people. But the High Priest was the one who epitomized selfless service and wore a crown. How he served was concealed from the people he served. We honor all those whom God honors, and should we be one of them, we are humbled knowing all the honor belongs to God.
It is my privilege to honor You, King Jesus, for you alone are worthy of praise.
