My message to the Prayer Band this morning was, "What are we doing with our time?" Drawing a circle as a time line, I used Job 1:21 as background: "I came in with nothing and I will leave with nothing." Of course Job was talking about earthly possessions, because the testimony of Job's life left plenty for we future believers to treasure.
When Jesus approached the tomb of Lazarus, He saw the stone and moaned. He had to be thinking of what lay ahead for Him and for what his friend endured because of the curse of Adam. Jesus was living in the present to secure a future for us believers. What He left behind was a train of redemption for all time. Well done indeed!
Thank You, Jesus, for enduring the pain of knowing ours.
