6067. You won’t find hope looking in the mirror. JG
Trouble on my website required me to inspect data for each day of the last eighteen years. Today should find an end to that rigorous ordeal, but what was gained in the process was telling. I saw the evolution of my prayer life and it positioned me to take what I learned and fine-tune it.
For over twenty years, I've relished spending time alone with God, which is the essence of prayer. There were times in the past when I spent all day in His presence and invited other people to join me, which they did. Since then, I've not ceased being desirous of that, but finding anyone who wants to join me seems to border on futility. Note that I did not make myself this way, but I am a product of prayer (Hebrews 11:5). So, I will rejoice, continue re-shaping the virtual prayer room, and spend time with God. If anyone chooses to join us, fine.
I don't need 7,000, God, but one would be nice.
