6073. Change is change when it sticks. JG
Seven months ago, my doctor diagnosed me as obese (240 lbs. plus), borderline diabetic with high blood pressure and cholesterol. With a job requiring me to sit all day, the prospect for change didn't look good. But I determined that regardless how I lost weight it would be a revised life style that would keep it off. So I decided to change my life-style and not use a PayMe weight-loss plan. I started by eating right (and less), limiting my intake of bad things and tracking my progress a week at a time.
To date I've lost 40 lbs and am no longer on some meds. There is no need to begin a maintenance plan to keep pounds off because my weight-loss plan IS my maintenance plan. It's interesting that by resting and being patient, I will have lost 90 lbs. one year after my troublesome exam. And this without special foods, diet plans or exercise. Why did it take so long for me to recognize that the simplest plan is once again the smartest plan?
Your way, God, is better than mine, taking longer perhaps, but always working.
