Devotional - Tuesday, February 6, 2018 37/328

Today's Scripture: "Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, 'Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.'" Jn 11:41

See it.

Advance muffler

Live it.

Was there ever a time when you believed something would happen, but you were afraid to tell anyone for fear they'd make fun of you or worse, it wouldn't happen? At one point in my youth, I thought I was dying, so I opened my Bible and stuck my finger in it to read Psalm 118:17-18. It was a moving moment but, like most people, I doubted God before I believed Him. Could it be that He was not only comforting me, but assuring me of a certain future?

This is something I've mostly kept to myself, but I've spent my life preparing for ministry and God has kept His word. Not only am I alive and healthy at a ripe old age, but thousands of people have heard me declare the word. In addition, Prayertower will be a oasis on the web for generations of thirsty believers long after I'm gone. God kept His promise to me. All I did was to act on the promise like I was receiving it—and I received it. If you doubt this is possible, question the inspired writer of Hebrews 11.

Pray it.

Thank You, God, that I can pray Your word in faith and not my wavering belief.
