Today's Scripture: "Do not love sleep, lest you come to poverty; open your eyes, and you will be satisfied with bread." Pr 20:13

Hazy lazy

Live it.

No one loves sleep more than I do. A good night of restful sleep makes it possible for me to have a good day of productive work when I get up. But I remember when I'd stay up late to take a test the next day knowing I could crash and sleep afterwards. Looking back at my grades in school, I think I would have been better to listen in class, study when the sun is up and rest at night. It's a good thing we adults don't do things like that any more.

Pray it.

Sleep is good, God, better knowing you never slumber but wait to spend waking time with me.
