Devotional - Tuesday, March 6, 2018 65/300

Today's Scripture: "And one of them, Caiaphas, being high priest that year, said to them, 'You know nothing at all, nor do you consider that it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people, and not that the whole nation should perish.'" Jn 11:49-50

Reason treason

Live it.

As a old-school software developer, I was not alone in my inability to keep up changes in computer technology. The ability to embrace new things while connecting to older things made me a legacy consultant. Now, I'd never heard that term until someone introduced me with that title. Evidently my job was to make old things function within a network of new things - until the new things started doing what the old things did or the company learned to live without the old things, starting with the legacy consultant. That sounds like a microcosm of life in general, something else I am slowly learning.

Pray it.

Guard me, God, from making wrong conclusions from the right information.
