6109. A true friend, unlike riches, won't forget you. JG
Last week at Bible study, I wrote down the name of a new friend. Throughout the week I prayed for him and proudly greeted him this morning—with the wrong name. How embarrassing! He reminded me that his name is JP, for John Paul, and not John Mark. The only thing harder than memorizing something might be trying to forget it and learn the correction. Oh well, God knows my intent.
Implant Your word in my heart, Lord, so I won't forget it.
