Devotional - Monday, March 12, 2018 71/294

Today's Scripture: "Then you shall kill the ram, and take some of its blood and put it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron and on the tip of the right ear of his sons, on the thumb of their right hand and on the big toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood all around on the altar." Ex 29:20

See it.

Lest we forget

Live it.

Animals like to mark their territory and will get defensive when another animal encroaches. We humans are similar but protect our stuff with fences, locks and barriers. The Levite priests carried the sacrificial blood on their person so they would remember God's provision was all encompassing. Some religious people still like to wear a visual reminder of their faith, but true believers are marked by the indwelling Holy Spirit. He constantly reminds a person of who they are, who Jesus is, and what He said. With that knowledge, a believer knows what to do.

Pray it.

Thank You, Holy Spirit, for reminding me that I am on mission everywhere I go.
