Fencing may be a sport but it's more like poetry in motion to me as two people are engaged, one on offense and the other on defense. Each position has specific motions, but one person must advance on the other or there will be no duel. It's interesting that the weapon used is both offensive and defensive. Get too far from your opponent and you are no threat, get too close and you can hurt yourself trying to hurt the other guy.

Pray it.

Thank You, Lord, for defending me from the enemy's assault and his treat.
