6132. Take enough from today to seed tomorrow and remember the past. JG
With the opportunity to lead worship at a church this Easter weekend, I chose to lead the congregation in a traditional hymn. But like most churches, this one stopped using hymnals long ago for big screens with the words to songs. Thank God, the words could be found on the Internet, but music for the musicians was another matter. For that I went to my library and found one of my many hymnals and scanned the appropriate page to load on iPADS for the musicians. Had I not retained one of these relics from the past, this relic would have been forced to follow a trend and wink as our legacy is forgotten.
Thank You, God, for a legacy that inspires me to keep it alive.
