6176. Slow is better than no. JG
Top of the mornin'
Removing a large diseased tree from your yard is not accomplished overnight. First the tree must be cut down, broken down and taken away before the stump is ground down to the ground. Then existing roots must be dug up which of course, leaves holes in the ground to be filled with dirt from somewhere else. Finally, grass seed is planted or sod is laid over the bare ground. The process can said to be complete when there is no evidence that a tree was ever there. It's the same way in a life of sin. God can make a life like new, but not without binding wounds over a span of time.
Thank You, God, for grace that covers my sin and mercy that doesn't condemn me.
