6199. Getting old yields more time to be grateful. JG
Deep and wide
One of the things about aging is the increasing frequency of funerals and visitations for people you know. Last night we again celebrated the home-going of a friend while renewing acquaintance with many people we haven't seen in a while. I was impressed how many people my age or older are thriving, some in spite of health issues and close encounters with death. Only time will tell the miracles God did to accomplish that and one day we will hear it when we meet in glory. I think awaiting that day gives me energy to endure this one.
The faithfulness I see in You, God, is but the tip of the mountain I think.
