6258. Opinions formed to fit a narrative will make new ones. JG
Recently a friend told me he was backing away from social media because of personal attacks made against him. Without any knowledge of the attacks or the stated offense, I am concerned for my friend. That's because his desire to find approval from men has been over the top and I doubt that can be easily turned off. I understand his desire for this dispute to go away because I too have been falsely accused by church "friends" and I chose not to defend myself. I encouraged my friend to stand fast and seek to please God, because what men think doesn't matter. That is, unless you have a higher regard for people than you should.
Men come and men go but You, Lord, will never leave me or regard the opinion of my adversaries.
